The CPSIS Community Report Program is designed to help homeowners stay informed about suspicious activity within their neighbourhood while supporting a safe, responsible, and community-first approach to reporting.

Homeowners can check whether their area is registered or eligible to receive CPSIS community reports. Once enrolled, you may receive relevant updates regarding unusual or suspicious activity observed within your local network.

How the Program Works

Our network of trained volunteers and community members plays an important role in maintaining awareness:

• Volunteers observe and document unusual or suspicious activity within their area
• Information is carefully assessed before any action is taken
• When necessary, concerns may be escalated to CPSIS Agents or local authorities

This process ensures that all reports are handled with care, accuracy, and accountability.

Community Safety Guidelines

To protect both residents and the public, all participants must follow these strict guidelines:

• Do not make false or misleading reports
• Do not engage in profiling or discrimination of any kind, including based on race, ethnicity, gender, or appearance
• Never approach, confront, or attempt to detain individuals
• Do not intervene in suspicious situations—your role is observation only

If you choose to document activity:

• Recording must be done from inside your home only
• Use your phone or device through closed windows or glass doors
• Do not open doors or windows to capture footage
• Always prioritize your personal safety
